Real Estate Article: Appraisals If you are getting a loan, the lender will send an appraiser to determine the value of the home. They do not inspect the home and tell you things that are wrong with the home. Occasionally, especially on FHA loans, they will ask for specific items to be repaired to bring the value of the home up to what you are paying. An appraiser can never be substituted for a home inspection. |
