Real Estate Article: Disclosures You Should Get From Sellers When you are looking a homes, there are several disclosures you should receive: 1. Seller's Disclosure The Seller fills out this form when the home is listed answering a series of questions about the condition of the home. 2. Lead Based Paint Disclosure: If the home you select was build before 1978, the seller is required to disclose anything they know about lead based paint in the home. I will also be giving you the HUD booklet about Lead Based Paint.
I will usually will bring these disclosures with me when I show you the home ,unless it is not available. I want you to have the disclosure to read BEFORE you make a decision to purchase the home. |
