Real Estate Article: How to Sell Your Home in a Slow Market When the current slow market first started in other parts of the country, Brad Inman from Inman News (an on-line real estate news site) was interviewed on CNN. One of the things he said was that in order for homes to sell in today’s slower market, the following things were needed.
Here’s some details on how to do that: 1. Get your home in top showing condition Get all of Linda’s articles on getting your home into top showing condition and get busy. If you need some help, Linda can also give you the name of a stager who can help you get it done. 2. Price your home right Linda will work up a detailed market analysis on your home, as well as letting you know about the current market conditions for your area and price range. Understanding exactly where the market is doing is very important in pricing homes to sell. 3. Market your home
aggressively on the internet.
All
agents will put your home in the MLS, on the IDX system that is available on
most company and agent websites, as well as Realtor.com.
Many will really brag about that. That’s
because it is easy. Once the home
information is entered in the MLS, it goes to the other 2 place automatically!!!
They will even brag about how it is one their company website and maybe
on their personal websites. OK, so
it is there if you go to the IDX and do a search.
Linda make several web pages just for your listing and links to these
pages (along with the picture) from the main page of all of her websites.
The pages will also be optimized for the search engines.
That’s putting your listings on the internet!
But that is just the beginning. Linda
will work to make sure information on your home will be on as many websites as
possible. When you list your home with Linda, she will do everything possible to help your home sell in today’s market. © 2006-2011, L.S.G. Enterprises, Inc |
